Rev. Chris Taylor was called to be the pastor of Clear Springs Baptist Church in October 2005. Before coming to Clear Springs, Pastor Chris served two other Southern Baptist churches as their associate pastor. Pastor Chris is a graduate of Carson-Newman College with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Medicine and has completed post graduate studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary as well as Andersonville Theological Seminary. Pastor Chris has a heart for building God's Kingdom through evangelism, discipleship, and church growth. He is proud of his Southern Baptist heritage and unapologetically supports the revised 2000 Baptist Faith and Message. Pastor Chris and his wife Ginger have three daughters, Caitlin, Caroline, and Carleigh. Outside of church Rev. Taylor enjoys playing golf, fishing, and spending time with Mrs. Ginger while watching their daughters sporting events.
